The Raq was first established in 1997, long before the facelift of Queen Street West occurred. We were one of the first bars to arrive in this wonderful neighbourhood and over the years the changes have been astounding. As the changes in the community occurred, so did the needs of its residents and so our format too was altered. Raq n Waq is no longer simply the local billiard, we are the local bar/lounge and we have become a destination for many others.
